The island of Crete is dotted with five-star hotels, but none resemble the Royal Troulis Collection: two very unique resorts owned and run by the local Troulis family.<\/p>\n
Troulis Royal Collection has been active in the field of tourism for the last 30 years. The group includes 2 luxury hotels in the area of Rethymno. The Royal Blue & The Royal Senses – with more than 400 employees in its workforce.<\/p>\n
The newly renovated Royal Blue and brand new Royal Senses represent an evolution beyond conventional luxury hotels. We focus on sharing the Cretan soul with our guests, the wild and warm beauty of our land and the fascinating culture of its powerful people.<\/p>\n
The history of the Troulis Royal Collection began with the founder George Troulis and his endless love for Crete and his family.\u00a0His life, a story of struggle and survival, is similar to the history of Crete.\u00a0Through perseverance and pride, he managed to create his own destiny. Despite his humble beginnings, the island provided him with everything he needed to create, initially with the possession of some animals.\u00a0However, the future he envisioned for his four children was not in agriculture, but in tourism.\u00a0He dreamed of wonderful hotels built on his land, a hospitable place to generously share the Cretan soul with travelers from all over the world. Once he was able to buy some land, he laid the foundation for the family’s first property, the Troulis Apart-Hotel built in the 80s.\u00a0 His children teamed up to build The Royal Blue, the family’s jewel that opened in 2009. And so the Troulis Royal Collection was set in motion.<\/p>\n
Although George Troulis is unfortunately no longer with us, his legend lives on in everything that has been done and is represented by the Royal Troulis Collection. Today, the company is run by his sons and their families.\u00a0Zacharias, Kostas and Manolis, who own The Royal Blue and The Royal Senses along with other businesses in Crete, are fulfilling their father’s dream and expanding the Troulis Royal Collection that they all worked hard to create.\u00a0Their mission?\u00a0To leave their own mark on the island’s hospitality map by investing in truly unique, selected resorts and hotels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
