DESCRIPTION:In partnership with ReFOCUS Media Labs\, we are excited to announce a new workshop series as part of Gekko’s Fall ’25 term: Video Voices! This creative program empowers refugee youth to share their stories\, ideas\, and dreams through film and digital media. Participants will gain hands-on experience in video production\, work with experienced mentors\, and connect with new friends.\n\n\nWorkshop Details:\n\n\nSchedule: Every Thursday\, 16:00-18:00\, until the 18th of December\nLocation: ReFOCUS Athens Lab\, Feron 6\, Athens\nAge: 15-24 years old\nLanguage requirement: Basic understanding of English (ideally min. B2 level)

DESCRIPTION:Gekkos provides a new Fall School from September 15th to December\, 2025. The program features a diverse curriculum including English\, Greek\, and computer classes\, along with a variety of engaging workshops. \nTarget group are children (12-15 yrs old) for early afternoon classes and youth (16-24 yrs old) for evening classes. \nIn addition there are: \n\nSchool support sessions for public school students aged 12 to 18 with a Greek language level of A2 or higher.\nAn IELTS Certification Preparation Program in collaboration with ELNOR\, for learners aged 18 to 30.\n\nApplications are now open. For children\, a guardian consent form is required. Therefore\, parents or guardians must accompany the child to Gekko on their first visit to complete the necessary paperwork and confirm their participation.

Classes will run from Monday to Friday\, with afternoon sessions taking place from 12:30 to 15:30 and evening sessions from 17:00 to 20:00. \nApplications are now open until 27 June\, Friday. For children\, a guardian consent form is required. Therefore\, parents or guardians must accompany the child to Gekko on their first visit to complete the necessary paperwork and confirm their participation.
