New cycle of training programs of the Refugee Women Academy: Registration is now open!

METAdrasi announces the launch of the new cycle of training programs of the Refugee Women Academy. 

The Refugee Women Academy, an initiative of Piraeus Bank [tag] and UNHCR GREECE [tag], implemented within the framework of Piraeus Bank’s Corporate Responsibility EQUALL, supports women with a refugee background and asylum seekers by offering FREE vocational training and support for their integration into the labor market. 

 

Specifically, for the specializations of kitchen assistant and hotel employee, the program includes: 

  • Vocational training 
  • Preparation for job interviews 
  • Support for the issuance necessary documents 
  • Connection with the labor market 

Refugee women or asylum-seeking women who live in the wider Attica region, have a good knowledge of English, and are able to attend the full program are eligible to participate. 

Training programs: 

  • Kitchen Assistant 
  • Hotel Employee 

The programs will be conducted in English and will have a duration of 45 hours. 

To support mothers with children aged 3–6, childcare services are provided during class hours.
